The Congress

Three days full of exciting events!
March 8-10, 2024

The Europiano Congress will take place at the same time as the Musikmesse Akustika'24 and will thus present itself in an exceptional professional and cultural setting. Instrument-making craftsmen from all areas show their skills and instruments.

All well-known European piano and grand piano manufacturers will be represented with their instruments in a separate, spacious piano area. Together with suppliers, they enrich the seminar program for you, the participants of the Europiano Congress, with specialist lectures and workshops.

The program

We not only want to give you a platform for a wide range of training, further education and for professional exchange, but also create the opportunity to get to know like-minded people.

The event will be rounded off by a get-together of all actors in our beautiful and multi-stringed  keyboard industry at the exhibition center and through a colorful evening of piano makers in historically and culturally rich Nuremberg.

Seminars & lectures

A closed area is available for in-depth seminars at the Europiano Congress, where professional presentations can be expected.

The topics range from field reports on training in the dual system with the central function of the technical school in Ludwigsburg, to innovations for balancing, the "leading out" of mechanics, occupational health and safety, to replacing a sound post and understanding and constructing modern soundboards.

Nuremberg

... is always worth a trip!

As the second largest city in Bavaria, it has a lot to offer: interesting museums, lots of history and, last but not least, really tasty beer.

A few highlights:

  • the 'Hauptmarkt' in the heart of the city with the famous 'Frauenkirche' and the beautiful fountain (turning the ring is said to bring good luck)

  • the medieval imperial castle with a view over the city

  • the Documentation Center

  • the 'Neue Museum'

  • the Christmas market in winter with delicious Nuremberg gingerbread (which also tastes good in summer!)

  • the 'Germanisches Nationalmuseum' with its collection of instruments

(Unfortunately closed due to renovation work - so we are all the more pleased that we were able to win over Dr. Bär, Head of the Collection of Musical Instruments, together with Prof. Kotzian, Chancellor of the HFM, for a lecture spanning epochs as part of the opening)

Are you in?

We look forward to you!
